World Biketrial Masters Cup In Shanghi China

Anyone wishing to ride in the World Biketrial Masters Cup in Shanghi, China on the 2nd May 2008 should contact Barry deeks asap for an entry. Closing date is April 11th. Riders will need a BIU licence if they dont already have one.
Riders will need to pay for their flight, but their meals, accommodation an transport to the event will be paid for by the organisers.
Riders are allowed to bring 1 minder. Flight to be paid for by the minder, but accommodation, meals an transport paid by the organisers
The event format will be a semi-qualifier/qualifier on Sat 1st May, with the top 20 riders progressing to ride in semi-final/final Sun 2nd May.

Riders must be born 1992 or before, max wheel size 26"

New, nationally recognised coaching courses will soon be available through BikeTrial United Kingdom.  The courses are aimed towards experienced BikeTrial riders and club members who wish to run organised teaching/training sessions.

BIKETRIAL 2008 RULE CHANGES

After Many Months of discusion at Biketrial International Union Headquarters, there have been some rule, regulation and category changes.

The biketrial uk committee held a meeting at rugby on Sunday. Among the matters discussed were:

 

2008 BIU Licenses- Biu international licences will not be required for British Championships for 2008. Only An ACU Trial or Biketrial licence will be compulsory.

 

BIU Headquarters have requested that the British championship be run according to new international rules.

 

2008 British Championship Dates and venues conformation-

Round 1 - 27 April 2008,  Devon.

 Round 2 – 28 June 2008, Heysham near Morecambe

Round 3 - 13 July 2008, Rochdale, Lancashire.

Round 4 – 21 September 2008, Hook Woods, Surrey.

Results of all four rounds to count for Championship points.

All bikes will be scrutinised before each competition.
